Vitraux Évangile

Stained Glass Gospel

Inspired by the centuries-old art of story-telling through stained glass found in medieval churches across France, the artists use thoroughly modern materials to share the struggle and hope inherent in their own personal stories. Through this series of six panels, viewers are invited to contemplate their own personal story even as they search for the overarching narrative of humanity.

Produced by Grace Church during a ten-day trip to French. The team includes teenagers and adults who assembled the “stained glass” artwork by hand. They worked from original designs which were created by local artists for this exhibition.
